Casio unveiled the Exilim Card EX-S10 digital camera, which it claims is one of the slimmest in its range. Even though it’s only 0.5in thick, the EX-S10 has all the bells and whistles of a standard digital camera.
The camera has a 10-megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom and a 2.7in high-contrast widescreen LCD that has a 230,160-dot resolution. The widescreen display can be viewed easily from above, below, left or right thanks to its wide viewing angle, and it is extremely bright, making it easy to view even under bright sunlight.
Casio has also improved the auto shutter technology on the EX-S10. The camera uses motion blur detection technology, which allows it to automatically take a photo at the instant when hand shake or subject movement ceases.
Or if the camera is pointed at the user, the camera will automatically take a shot the moment the user’s face fills the frame.
The camera comes in silver, black and red, and a blue version is expected to be released in April.
