Decent player. Just bought the 16gb version. The sound quality is SUPERB! but only when i use it with my own headphones and not the supplied ones which dont provide enough bass.
I used to own a Sony mp3 player. I have to say that Philips and Sony are the best i have heard for sound quality (Creative and Ipod not withstanding).
Sony tends to be louder with a heavier sound, Philips tends to have clearer and more lively sound. Take your pick.
