
It’s been a while since we’ve got our hands on a Sony Ericsson flip-phone, seeing that that they have been a bit quite in that department for a while. The new Z770i introduces 3G high speed data to the Z-series in a slim and handy mobile. The phone fits very nicely in your hand and features a silver/metal finish throughout. With the flip closed, you will find a small mirrored display on the front that informs you of any incoming calls or messages when necessary. Above this is a 2-megapixel pinhole camera for quick shots. Inside, the top flip holds an excellent 240×320 color LCD. Despite having 3G, the Z770i doesn’t have a second inner camera for video calls. The keypad on the lower flip is of the popular ‘etched surface’ type popularized by the Motorola RAZR ages ago. The net result of the design aspects make the Z770i a very clean and elegant design.
