Looking like a small plastic box with a transparent color-tinted lid, the Dell Wasabi is actually a no-ink cartridge portable photo printer. How it does this is it uses special paper that has been pre-treated with hidden inks and the printer ‘activates’ this colors, resulting in a glossy photo with no smudges, fading or curling.
What possessed Dell to name the printer ‘Wasabi’ is beyond us, but it is intended as a fun, portable device that’s great for party or a day out. With an in-built Lithium Ion battery, you do not need to find a wall socket just to print out your snazzy shots of the day and makes it extra portables.
So if you are the kind who likes visiting those photo-sticker booths but own a camera, the Dell Wasabi is just the thing for you.
