
Sony Ericsson recently announced its latest web-enabled candy bar phone, the G502.
The G502 is a phone that looks simple on the outside but is packed to the brim with features that makes web browsing and navigating around town simple, the company said.
Sony Ericsson touts the phone as a true web-browsing phone complete with fast Internet connection using standard 3G (UMTS) or HSDPA.
The phone comes with Google Maps for Mobile that gives users access to maps complete with listings of local restaurants and hotels.
Users can also purchase the optional HGE-100 GPS enabler accessory and connect it to the G502 to give the phone GPS capabilities.
The G502 also provides a link between users and their webmail account such as Yahoo! or GMail. Additionally the phone supports Exchange ActiveSync for receiving push e-mail.
